Where The Money Goes

Pierce Phillips Charity is proud to be an all-volunteer charity and gives back 100% of all proceeds. Your donations fund research that brings better treatments and cures to children with cancer.

More than $800,000 to trials across leading institutions

To live up to our mission of eradicating cancer through funding research, Pierce Phillips Charity focuses a great deal of attention and resources on funding clinical trials that have a significant potential impact on children fighting cancer today. Since its inception, Pierce Phillips Charity has funded clinical trial grants for 6 trials across the leading research institutions in North America. Since 2012, PPC has granted more than $800,000 to trials across leading institutions, including the first use of CAR-T cells for solid tumors at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and High Intensity Focused Ultrasound at the hospital for sick kids in Toronto.

We have partnered with researchers at top institutions such as Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, Dana Farber Boston Children’s Hospital, Kosair Children’s Hospital Louisville, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, University of Vermont, Riley’s Children’s Hospital in San Diego, and St. Justine in Montreal.

Helping Families

Having a child with cancer is one of the most difficult situations a family can face.

Since 2014, Pierce Phillips Charity has provided more than 300 families with direct financial assistance to help with the overwhelming costs associated with having a child going through cancer treatment. Totaling more than $300,000 to date, we continue to help every family we can get through the most challenging times of their lives.

The beautiful family pictured is Jason Schrepel with his wife, daughter, and son Blaise who is fighting against cancer. Jason sent us this statement, “the donation our family received was a huge blessing. With all of the missed work for doctor appointments, the meals needed to eat while in the hospital, and other miscellaneous needs, the financial gift from Pierce Phillips Charity really lightens the burden. Thank you so much for your generosity and for supporting families during their difficult journey.”
